International Connections

Cultural Exchange with Sister Schools in Mexico and Denmark

At The Hague School, “worldview” and “international mindedness”  are lively terms that connect with our students, not as places on a map, but as faces and names.  Our regular classes include collaboration with students at the Harkness Institutes in San Luis Potosí and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and Ikaste-Brand, Denmark, exploring topics from Business Venturing to Oceanography to Global Leadership and Understanding International Conflict.

“The relationship between our schools has enriched our programs tremendously.  Perhaps just as importantly, it has created new friendships that promote international understanding and bridge apparent differences between our countries.  The best understanding for today’s teenagers comes from these personal intercultural relationships.”

– Alvaro Lopez, MBA, Head of School, Harkness Institute, San Luis Potosí, Mexico

Through our schools’ close connection with international Harkness schools and the IB Programme, we are preparing our students for a global society, one in which they have the tools they need to make and articulate open-minded, inclusive decisions.
