About The Hague School
Listen to students and faculty at The Hague School describe the power of Harkness learning to help students develop confidence in their individual voices and solve problems as a collaborative community.
The Hague School is an independent secondary school dedicated to the development of character and academic achievement through a college preparatory curriculum grounded in collaborative discourse. Small by design, we offer personalized instruction and unique student opportunities in preparation for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to be offered in the 11th and 12th grades.
Under the guidance of master teachers, students engage in self-directed learning through threshold concepts and create powerful and productive habits of analytical and critical thinking designed to carry through each student’s college and graduate education.
