International  Connections

Cultural Exchange with Harkness Institute, Mexico and Ikast-Brande Gymnasium, Denmark.

At The Hague School, “worldview” and “international mindedness” are lively terms that connect with our students, not as places on a map, but as faces and names. Our regular classes include collaboration with students at the Harkness Institutes in San Luis Potosí and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, exploring topics from Business Venturing to Oceanography to Global Leadership and Understanding International Conflict.

Through our schools’ close connection with international Harkness schools, we are preparing our students for a global society, one in which they have the tools they need to make and articulate open-minded, inclusive decisions.

“The relationship between our schools has enriched our programs tremendously.  Perhaps just as importantly, it has created new friendships that promote international understanding and bridge apparent differences between our countries.  The best understanding for today’s teenagers comes from these personal intercultural relationships.”
